This week’s Rotary of Marion guest speaker was Jimmy Hines, Director of the District Health Department for McDowell, Polk and Rutherfordton County. Jimmy began his light hearted program by discussing the role that Public Health Department’s efforts play in improving the public’s health thru preventative programs, clinic services, safety oversight and initiatives, and family planning.
