This week’s Rotary of Marion guest speaker was Kathleen “Kat” Barlett from The Biltmore House. Kathleen gave an informative and historical account of the Vanderbilt’s history of philanthropy specifically recounting how G.W Vanderbilt took social responsibility to a deeper level. Kathleen presented examples of the many projects the Vanderbilt’s funded to improve the lives of all in WNC.
