This week’s Rotary of Marion guest speaker was Eric Christian from Community Care of North Carolina. Eric gave an informative presentation about Project Lazarus. The Project Lazarus public health model is based on the premises that drug overdose deaths are preventable and that all communities are ultimately responsible for their own health. Community Care of North Carolina partners with local health providers and law enforcement to educate communities and individuals to prevent drug overdoses and meet the needs of those living with chronic pain.
